I worked with the website committee from Editors Atlantic (a regional group of Editors Canada) to create a new website that highlights members from across the region.
Working with Marsha was a pleasure. She shepherded us through the entire process of amalgamating websites and creating a customized searchable database of Atlantic editors. Marsha thought through the complexities of our situation to propose the simplest solutions. Not only did she listen carefully to our stated needs, but she also discerned our unstated needs and provided astute advice in developing the website and keeping its ongoing maintenance manageable. She streamlined the process of collecting data, set up a system to manage ongoing additions and changes, and provided live training (recorded in video and written formats) so that we would understand how to navigate the site.
Marsha made the entire process of web development surprisingly enjoyable—she is exceedingly competent and judicious in her work, yet easygoing and personable in her manner. Flexible yet forthright, she explained options and rationales clearly to non-techies, and she kept the project moving forward towards completion.
